2026 Rice Festival T-Shirt

Addie Bonner is a professional photographer, creative, and owner of Addie Leigh Photography. Although she was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Walterboro is the place that eventually became home.

After her parents divorced, her father's career with the South Carolina Highway Patrol brought him to Walterboro, a move that would end up changing Addie's life in more ways than she could have imagined. It was here that she met her husband, Caleb. The two later moved away while he served in the United States Marine Corps, but eventually found their way back to Walterboro, where they chose to raise their three daughters.

Coming back gave Addie an even greater appreciation for small-town life. Now, as a mother, she wants her girls to grow up with the same kind of hometown traditions, familiar faces, and childhood memories that stay with you long after you've grown up.

As the Office Manager and Event Director for the Colleton County Rice Festival, Addie has developed a passion for helping preserve those traditions while creating new memories for families throughout the community.

When it came time to design the 2027 Rice Festival T-shirt, Addie wanted to create something that felt like Walterboro. Inspired by the charm of downtown, its historic buildings, and the traditions that make this community special, her design is a tribute to the town she has come to love.

For Addie, the Rice Festival is about more than an annual event. It's about watching children experience the same excitement year after year, seeing families come together, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Because sometimes home isn't where your story begins. It's where your heart decides to stay.
